FOOLS' BREW is on a mission to tear up every stage they play with straightforward, Midwest-bred heavy metal that drips with aggression and energy. Composed of 4 band kids with college-level music degrees that escape the frustrations of every day life through metal. Their sound rides the line of hard rock and metal with heavy breakdowns and catchy choruses that leave a lasting impression. Blending contemporary metal sensibilities with a pinch of southern twang, nasty guitar solos, and groove that just won’t quit. The Chicago four-pack of fury cut their teeth playing bars and clubs all around Chicago. In the early months of 2012 they rocked The Rave in Milwaukee while opening for Korn. 2013 saw the FOOLS win the Chicago Battle of the Bands at Reggie's Rock Club, play the main stage at Congress Theater, and headline shows around the city. Their EP ‘THIS SIDE OF SANITY’ served as a coming out party as they showcased their raucous live set across the Midwest playing venues in Detroit, Indianapolis, Cleveland, Columbus, Pittsburgh, Milwaukee, and Bloomington; opened for Kyng, Kill Devil Hill, Soulfly, Butcher Babies, Crobot, and Upon A Burning Body; and packed shows back home at some of the Chicago area's premier rock venues. For their follow up EP, they enlisted the help of veteran producer Chris Steinmetz of Stonecutter Studios, creating the fiery six tracks that are ‘THE RECKONING’, which saw radio play on over 90 stations nationwide. Building on that success, they spent early 2017 playing shows across five states as part of their "Run for the Border Tour" and releasing their new single THE PARADE. Early 2018 brought on the “March South Tour” and the destruction of 4 stages at SXSW. After crushing the Rebel Stage at Summerfest, the FOOLS hit the road in the fall for their “Weekend Warriors Tour” to promote their upcoming release. On November 11th, 2018, the FOOLS unleashed their highly anticipated EP ‘NEW MACHINE’ featuring the scathing new single GHOSTWRITERS. On July 2, 2021, the powerful new single ECHOES, accompanied by an equally riveting video, dropped and showcased a much more refined and heavy path for their music. The FOOLS show no signs of slowing as the Brew Crew keeps growing.
